Field notes

Make a more informed choice

01

Start with the flight, not the camera

Choose between short practice sessions, travel footage and inspection work. A stable beginner experience matters more than a headline resolution you will rarely use.

02

Compare the whole kit

Check the aircraft weight, controller, spare batteries, replacement parts and return policy. Advertised flight time is a laboratory maximum; wind and reserve battery reduce useful flying time.

03

Check the rules before takeoff

Weight alone does not determine whether registration or authorization is needed. Use your local aviation authority and inspect airspace restrictions for the exact flight location.
